Dr. Sugat Waghmare is a visionary leader, accomplished entrepreneur, and committed social reformer whose life and work are deeply rooted in the values of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. With over 30 years of experience as a businessman and social worker, he has dedicated his journey to building a more just, inclusive, and empowered society.
A civil engineer by qualification and a lifelong learner by nature, Dr. Waghmare has played a pivotal role in fostering entrepreneurship and socio-economic development among
Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) across Maharashtra.
As the Vice President of DICCI (Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), he is actively working to in still an entrepreneurial spirit and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for the marginalized.
His commendable contributions span a wide spectrum—uplifting children, empowering women, developing young minds, and driving meaningful reforms in communities that need them most. A multifaceted personality, he is widely respected in society for his unwavering commitment to social justice, economic equality, and grassroots empowerment.
Whether it is through shelter, education, health initiatives, or startup mentorship, Dr. Sugat Waghmare continues to lead with purpose, creating pathways for the next generation to rise with dignity, confidence, and opportunity.

His mission is clear: to ensure that no child remains uneducated, no woman remains unheard, and no voice goes unnoticed in the national chorus of progress.
